According to Joel 3:1-2 of the Bible, it seems the Almighty Father in heaven, Yahweh, is not in favor of this popular two-state solution in Israel approach. Let’s delve deeper and see what we can uncover.

What does it say in Joel 3:1-2?

“For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.”

The above passage from the book of Joel speaks of a time when Yahweh, the Father in heaven, will gather the nations together to judge them for what they have done to His people, Israel. It explicitly mentions that they have scattered the people of Israel among the nations and divided up His land. From this verse, we can infer that Yahweh sees Israel as His heritage and is deeply concerned about its land division.

So, it seems that Almighty Yahweh is against the division of His land. Does this mean that the proposed two-state solution in Israel is not in alignment with Yahweh’s plan?

Yes, Almighty Yahweh is expressing His concern over the scattering of the Jewish people among the nations and the division of the land He has given to them. Joel 3:1-2 directly suggests that the Creator is against the division of His land.

It challenges the notion of a two-state solution that involves dividing the land of Israel between Israelis and Palestinians. That verse implies that Yahweh views the land as a unified and indivisible inheritance for the Jewish people.

And yes, it raises questions about the potential implications of advocating for a two-state solution in light of this biblical perspective. Is there a way to reconcile this verse with the political realities on the ground today?

Some may argue that the division of the land is a necessary compromise for achieving peace and stability in the region. They might interpret the verse as a reflection of Yahweh’s displeasure with the scattering of His people, rather than a direct condemnation of a two-state solution.

Others may take a more literal interpretation, believing that Almighty Yahweh’s intentions for the land should be respected and upheld. They might argue that any division of the land goes against Yahweh’s plan and could potentially lead to further strife and conflict.

These are indeed complex issues to grapple with. It’s essential for us to approach this topic respectfully and with an open mind, recognizing the importance of the biblical perspectives that exist.

It is also absolutely essential to engage in thoughtful dialogue and seek to understand the historical, political, and religious dimensions that shape the debate surrounding the two-state solution.

While many people provide insights on the two-state solution in Israel, it’s most important to consider biblical perspectives that are the true source of real truth and good.
